Intensive Support Residences

Our intensive supportive residences offer an organised structure and a positive environment for young people with high needs. This ensures they receive ongoing therapeutic support for their emotional challenges.

Statutory Obligations

All statutory obligations are fulfilled as we work closely alongside the appropriate organisations, institutions, and individuals to ensure that the safety, welfare, and rights of young people are honoured and respected. All laws and regulations are followed so that young people with high needs are protected and safeguarded in the best way possible.

Risk Mitigation

We ensure the safety of young people and the people around them by performing effective risk mitigation. In-depth assessments are carried out to determine risks and individual needs. From there, efficient and measurable strategies and goals are developed and tracked to ensure the person lives their life comfortably – without the threat of those derailing risks.

Protection from Exploitation

As these young people are often vulnerable to being exploited, we are highly vigilant about safeguarding them from it. We intervene by educating them and equipping them with the knowledge and conviction to avoid exploitation, whether it be sexual, financial, or otherwise.

Therapeutic Interventions

We provide intensive therapy regularly, ensuring that young people are better equipped to deal with their emotions, thoughts and urges. This helps them to come to terms with their mental/emotional processes so that they are better equipped to make sound decisions.
